All shelter needs windows, to gaze, ponder, daydream, and wish the weather was nice enough to go outside
Early on in the build, I searched for and found a set of wooden windows and a matching sliding door. It helped us design the build knowing what dimensions to work with. It humbles me, knowing that these windows have existed since 1983, six years before I took my first breath, and that the hardwood trees grew decades if not centuries before that!

Step 1. Carefully removing the window slats, removing the glass, and scrape off all the sealant.

Step 2. Get a bunch of help to sand, sand, and sand some more!
