An experimental earth-floor with heating system

"Patience is power. Patience is not an absence of action;
rather it is "timing"
it waits on the right time to act,
for the right principles
and in the right way.”
― Fulton J. Sheen

Using pure clay, harvested from my birth town Emmen, I experimented with building an earth floor and integrating a water heating system. Never had this been done with a building like mine, and just a few examples came remotely close to what I wanted.

Although the actual work wasn't more than 5 days, the entire process took over two months, mostly due to the drying time between layers. It was a true test of patience and acceptance. For about two weeks, the final layer kept growing cracks, which I expected and knew to be part of the drying process. Patiently continuing to sponge out those cracks and accepting their permanent marks, I wasn't too fond of the result by that point. But it wasn't until soaking it all in oil that the true color revealed itself. I am absolutely in love with the final result!!
