Who is Sarah?
"I've never done it, so I think I can"- Pippi Langstocking
Hi and welcome to my site! I'm a passionate, Dutch-born environmentalist, world citizen, and adventurer at heart.
Pursuing things that give me joy and meaning has led me to live self-sustainably on a Caribbean Island, save parrots in Latin America, and embark on a quest for sustainable building practices.
After 10 years abroad, I migrated back to the Netherlands to start a new phase in my life. Following the renovating of my old campervan, it was time for a next project; creating my own eco-home in 2022.
Although the house was officially "ready" in the summer of 2023, it will never be fully "finished". There's still so much I'd like to do!
While I've learnt my bit in the world of building an eco-home, I hope this blog will inspire others and support those with similar dreams.
